Our parish inaugurated the Year of the Priest with a half hour adoration on 3 July 2009. The Year of the Priest was declared open by Pope Benedict XVI on 19 June 2009, and will conclude on 19 June 2010.
As part of the celebrations, the parish will be organizing a Vocation Sharing for youth. Our parish is fortunate to have the presence of so many Religious congregations: Ursulines of Mary Immaculate (Kilbil, Nirmala Home, Tanmaya), Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA - Maria Vihar and SHTC), Franciscan Hospitallers of the Immaculate Conception (FHIC - Nirmala Convent), and Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB - Divyadaan, STI, Don Bosco Nashik). We will be asking one member of each of these congregations to share his / her vocation story very briefly.
The invitees will be the youth of our parish (and why not, even of other parishes), and the Catholic students of Stds VIII to X from our schools.
