The parish Marian Month is due to begin on 16 August 2009. While plans have still to be drawn up, statues of Our Lady will be making the rounds of the zones, as has been done for some years now.
The Marian Academy will be held on 9 August 2009 in the parish hall. Items are welcome - well-prepared, in keeping with the fact that we are preparing for the feast of the Assumption of Our lady, and SHORT! Fr Nelson Falcao, our parish priest, will be coordinating the Academy with the help of a small group of parishioners.
The Vocation Sharing by Religious of our parish, scheduled for 1700 hours, Saturday, 22 August, will also be in some way part of the Marian Month, as well as of the Year of the Priest.
