Sheila Dyer passed away last night, 14 July 2009, at around 2230 hours, at Nirmala Home. She was 88, and had been ailing for some time. A day before she died she lost consciousness and her breathing became heavy. Fr Nelson anointed her at around 0930, and she passed away an hour later.
Her niece from Australia is on the way for the funeral, which will be held tomorrow, 16 July 2009, at Nirmala Home.
Sheila used to belong to the Salesian parish of Our Lady of Dolours Parish, Wadala West. She was a military nurse, and I remember seeing her tall, straight and tough. She came to Nirmala Home some 10 years ago.
RIP.
